I found Yuki's Instagram account by chance and contact him to guide me in Yakushima. He responded very promptly and recommended two amazing hikes that I'm very grateful for. He took care of me during the hikes, ensuring my safety, and even "rescued" my broken boot! He was also very encouraging the whole way when I was clearly struggling after ascending Tachudake. I did hike Mount Tachu with Yuki and I must say I was amazed by the beauty of the forest and blown away by the summit view! Yuki picked me up at my guest house and we saw deer and monkeys on the way up to the trail entrance. The hike was intense and fun, incredible trees on every corner. 初めての屋久島で、77号線をドライブ中に目にした花崗岩むき出しの雄大なモッチョム岳。 頂上まで登れると知るも、なかなかガイドさんが見つからず。 別のガイドさんのご紹介でやっと村松さんと出会うことができ、3回目の屋久島で、村松さんの丁寧なガイドの下、お天気にも恵まれ念願のモッチョム岳登頂できました。 村松さん、次回は花山歩道〜永田岳と七五岳のガイドも宜しくお願いします！

We spent two days exploring the magic of Yakushima with Yuki.
